The good thing about this situation is that it has made me become aware of my 'steps'. the inner process that I go through. By being aware of your steps you can then take back control by placing 'safe guards' that remind you to come back to your center of peace. One of my safe guards is deep breathing into my stomach as it takes me from tension that I store in my stomach and throat to relaxation. It is such a small and doable thing - breathing - that it is sad that I have to remind myself to do it!
I put reminders in my day planner - because it is some thing that I check in with daily - for me I need a method of constant reinforcement because I am suborn. I feel so much more ME when I am at ease and not trying to fix everything.
As this busy intense time -Christmas- so do yourself a favor and take an hour to look at your 'steps' and find a few 'safe guards' that are easy for you to do. I guarantee that you will feel more laid back and in control whislt everyone else is franticly buzzing around.
Have a great Christmas everyone and I will try to be more on top of blogging next year. I welcome hearing from you all and if you ever have questions please ask away.
