I do believe that I am winning the battle and that the battle is worth fighting for.
BUT I also believe that we need to allow our inner mind world a time to flourish and to dream.
To be able to knowingly go into our imaginations and play 'make believe' a adult version of our childhood game of dress up. I think it is healthy to take a time out from our day to day and to de-stress and if that means drifting to a place in our minds where we are pirates or modern day explorers and visionaries, why not?
As long as we are completely aware that this is a pretend state and not our true realities, then take a 'time out' and enjoy.
I like to meditate and often use a guided technique that allows my mind space to explore a rich endless vista of unworldly places, I am always totally relaxed and inspired after a deep session. Giving myself a break from being 'me' for short periods of time grants me often clarity and energy to live a more promising NOW.
So go and dream and play and take time out from being centered in your Now
Because you will then find that your NOW takes on a richer role that you will want to remain in because of
you knowingly checking out occasionally.

empowering myself along the way"
