1. I have learnt not to judge others because they look healthy
Pain comes in so many unseen forms and I am trying to just be sympathetic and non-judgemental
2. I have learnt that it is perfectly ok not to place expectations on oneself
By freeing up that energy I have learnt to appreciate the days that I am in a "doing" space
3. I have learnt to be even more thankful for the support of my husband and family
I now no what the concept that we are not an island means. Having people who care is healing in itself
4. I have learnt that our mind is both our power and our saboteur
Just when I believe I am in control of all of those negative thoughts they can come flooding back, the lesson is in how long you allow those thoughts a place of control in your life.
What I know is that we are a complex being and our mind a maize of never ending tunnels that can take you where you wish to be or can trap you in place. THE CHOICE IS YOURS. Getting to that place of understanding takes work and effort but ask yourself what is the alternative.
Float above the fantasy of make believe and then bask in the glory of your own power and achievements"
You will feel so empowered by allowing yourself to be YOU.
