Life can be a hard place to be a full member of. Often our dreams and hopes are eroded and never become the reality we wish for and unless we have a higher consciousness to let go and move in new directions, we can become motionless and bitter.
We live in a instant society of immediate gratification and see success ( money and fame) often through bad behaviours as the road to achievement. Morals and religion and moderation are just words with no foundation for many. We need to learn that we are free to dream and dream without boarders BUT we need to become satisfied and happy with our reality and to grow and learn that if one door closes for us THEN THAT IS OK and if it stays closed and another does not open to not become lost in disappointment and not see the opportunity of seeing the happiness available to you in this immediate moment in time.
I feel we need to find those moments and become aware and acknowledge them and SIT with that feeling and find our inner AH and to be grateful - to embrace the simplicity and not always associate these moments as being only available too you in GRAND events or attached to money.
Learning to be content is hard as we are human and we are taught that we need to have ABC to be successful or to be good or to be happy in our life. Really what a bunch of crap we are taught! many so called successful people are unhappy and never content because like all of us they too are taught to look externally to find answers and solutions and to surround oneself with things that will then make you feel ABC. Now this is not a rant about not aiming high or having wealth, this is a rant about not being frozen if you do not achieve your dreams, to find your happy places and to go within your own emotional body and heal that aspect of self that is keeping you stuck.
We have a fabulous capacity to learn and to grow if we wish too. Learning to live with a life full of ups and downs and disappointments with a spirit that finds a balanced place of inner contentment is where I choose to find the pathway to.
Remembering to walk daily being aware of the moments of peace/happiness/contentment/grace and allowing them to be a natural state of inner being. Like breathing.
Today I choose to breath in those moments and to breath out fears that keep me frozen.
With every breath in and out I am open to life
