By having a gratitude mentality and thinking and focusing on gratitude daily brings about a change in our subconscious thoughts and allows us to stay in JOY for longer periods of time.
Now I have practised months of writing down what I am grateful for as part of a project I was doing and I enjoyed the process and I did feel more positive, but after the project ended so did the daily writing of gratitude thoughts. I find that it takes constant reinforcement of a new idea/thought to make it 'stick' because I am so much more comfortable doing my stuff without thought!
So today being my 55 birthday I am embracing the Gratitude Attitude and allowing myself to become a JOY filled woman without going into worse case scenario. I will be writing down 3 things every day that I am grateful for and will consciously let go of self sabotaging thoughts and worse case dramas and invite myself to enter into a JOY state without believing I do not deserve it.
It is lovely to be at an age and to understand that it is perfectly OK to be a continual work it progress and that every day I can choose whether it is going to be a good or bad one. Attitude is in your own hands and how you choice to deal is also in your hands, I choose to be open to learning and living my life in gratitude and grace and having JOY.
